Treatment of calcaneal fractures with disabilities by means of PTB brace

Abstract
|
|
|
Twenty-six cases of old calcaneal fracture with disabilitites were treated by means of PTB brace.
All the fractures had involved subtalar joints and receieved conservative or sugical treatments previously.
PTB brace improved the result from poor to fair in seven cases, from poor to very good in three cases, and from poor to very good in three cases.
PTB brace is a good mean for the treatment of old calcaneal fractures with permanent disabilities.
